5 steps to running a successful online presence

Step 1: Choosing a design layout

Siteglide ships with a collection of professional designs that are pre-configured into the system and customised to ensure customers get the most from the platform. All Siteglide design layouts are fully responsive (adjust for mobile/tablet), built to the latest standards and offer exceptional functionality and ease of use within Siteglide. There is no better way to get a website up and running than by using a professionally designed, responsive layout which is further customised to showcase the business in its best light. Step 2: Customisations

Naturally, good design is important; visitors will spend more time on an aesthetically pleasing website and it is more likely to build trust and confidence. However, the website must also accurately reflect the nature of the business, its genre and its branding. Proper use of imagery, content placement and clear navigation are paramount for user experience.

Our development partners offer various levels of customisation to cater for various budgets, time-scales and requirements. Most businesses will wish to use the professional services of our development partners who know Siteglide inside out. Alternatively, customers can use their own web developers who will find Siteglide particularly easy to use.


Step 3: Go Live & Training

The 'Go-Live' process takes place once all customisations have been completed and all website content/imagery is ready for the public to see. At this point, clients upgrade their free trial account and select the appropriate plan. Siteglide assist customers with domain configuration, DNS settings and email accounts (if required) and the site is then made live. 1 hour's Siteglide training is offered to all customers, which includes how to edit the website content and manage the business online.


Step 4: Optional Add-Ons


Your site is now live on the Internet and you should have everything you need to manage your new site and grow your business online. No-one's got a crystal ball, and most customers find that they need to add new features at some stage, so we’ve created a fixed price add-ons marketplace. Here you will find useful add-ons and services that you can choose; these have been built by Siteglide and our developer partners. Step 5: Ongoing support & improvements

You can now relax in the knowledge that your website is in safe hands, having been built using the latest Adobe technology and supported by a dedicated UK team of web professionals. Our support team remains at your disposal as well as 24/7 access to the Siteglide online training facility including easy to follow videos and a full wiki with tutorials. Both Siteglide and Adobe are continually making improvements to the platform to give Siteglide customers more features and make website management even easier.
