ITS Taste goes live on Siteglide


International Taste Solutions needed a better online presence to showcase the incredible food taste and textures they offer to the bakery and food industry. Being a thriving business, with new flavours and products being developed all the time they wanted to combine their website with a powerful blog so they could keep their website visitors up to date with the latest company news. As the blogging module is built into Siteglide, this made for much easier maintenance for the client: one log in and one familiar interface. A further benefit was that all the content resides on the website domain, so search engines tend to add more weight to the site with fresh content being added via the blog on a regular basis.

The website was built to a customised design and layout by Wysi, web developers in Berkshire. Wysi build most of their clients' websites onto the Siteglide platform because it is so popular due to its unique combination of common website tools and features.

A great way to quickly deliver information to visitors is through a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) module; ITS use this to great advantage. Being able to quickly find out what a company does tends to retain visitors on the website for longer. ITS also use a 'What's New' section on their homepage to direct visitors to their main products and services; this feature uses Siteglide's powerful Web Apps database, as does the website's image gallery.  

Imagery works particularly well with some high quality, mouth-watering photos of their food products. Again, imagery (as opposed to large blocks of text) tends to engage and retain the visitor longer.

The website, built on a customised design and layout, is fully responsive - viewing correctly on Smart Phones, tablets and other mobile devices as well as on large screen displays - meaning ITS don't lose business from users on the move. (NB - Mobile is expected to overtake fixed internet access in 2014!)

ITS also build visitor loyalty and retention through the newsletter subscription form; industry professionals and potential new customers are kept informed of the latest news at ITS. Email addresses are subscribed to the newsletter mailing list and are automatically emailed as part of each Email Marketing Campaign - a built-in feature of Siteglide.
