Welcome to our monthly round-up for May. This month we take a look at updates to Site Subscriptions and billing!
Site Subscription Updates
Usage Column
Siteglide is a usage-based platform, and so it’s important to keep an eye on your site’s plan and your site’s usage breakdown within the Subscription tab.
This month, we've released an update which makes it even easier to keep tabs on site usage, especially for those of you with multiple sites to manage - you can now view the current site plan within your list of Sites along side the current usage status!
Turn Off Automatic Upgrades
Sites can be automatically upgraded to the next available plan on the 1st of the following month if the cost of Extras exceeds the difference in cost to upgrade to the appropriate plan. Automatic upgrades by the system ensure that if usage increases on a site, the cheapest option is chosen and charged.
However, you may prefer to opt-out of this and avoid an automatic upgrade to keep your site’s renewal on the same dates (for annual plans); or there may be temporary items which will be deleted soon and return this site back within the plan’s limits.
Opting out of automatic plan upgrades is now possible!
You can choose your global preferences within your Agency account details or, if you prefer override this on a site-by-site basis within the Site Settings Subscriptions tab.

Manual Plan Changes
Alongside the ability to opt-out of automatic site upgrades, you can now also manually change your site’s plan to any plan of your choosing at any time.
Previously, a Site could only be moved to the next plan up or next plan down. Now, you can review usage across all of your sites and make decisions there and then to mange data, plan levels and more. You have full control.
